MALFOID is taking over

The world has been taken over by Malfoid. A gender-swapped variation of Draco Malfoy. It has been about ten days, but during that time, it has massively exploded over all social media and ... it's really good. People now want the HBO to stop recording their Harry Potter series and go with new alternate universe with Malfoid instead. 
Unfortunately, I've been entranced by this as well. I've really played with the idea that I could write some fanfic about them too.
The ship has always existed. The Malfoy + Harry ship.
There's nothing new, but it was a niche very much only associated with the yaoi community. But gender-swapping Malfoy and making it into a "K-drama" with Harry romance turned it into an absolute gold mine.
It seems that J.K.Rowling has not spoken about it so far and I bet she's having dollar-signs in her eyes
, because this completely revived all hype about the HP universe. If I were her, I'd also keep shut, because it could ruin the hype and therefore she would generate less...
Anyways ... Malfoid. It's mostly AI slop, yes. Horrendous AI slop. BUT surprisingly? It's genuinely enjoyable even though it's obvious AI slop. Are those the times that make us accept AI generative slop as just another way to deliver a story, visually ?
I wonder. And some of the AI slop is REALLY good nowadays ...
BUT ! In a mere ten days, people made COSPLAYS on Malfoid and those are also really good !!!

Well, anyways ... I may and may not write something ... about Malfoid. We'll see. I don't have much free time these days, but I am really deep in this rabbit-hole.
I've spoken with a few male friends about Malfoid and the vids and it seems that this is the way to awake emotions in men. Every single one of us felt things when watching the short drama clips. Somehow, Malfoid is really bonding people.
