As it happens, I go to work, I do programming and software engineering and I was tasked, since the time is to release a new version of our software, to click it a bit and test it. A task I do not like to do, but hey, it takes mind off of the problems we usually tackle.
So I clicked it a bit, everything seemed fine and I lost track of what i did and suddenly, an error. I did not know what I did to reach the error at first and I had to figure it out in call-stack (i was in debug mode). That's not the usual way and it took me a while to reproduce the issue again.
So then, when I got home I was thinking about it and I didn't find a suitable solution online, so I made my own.
A recording software that uses triggers to start and stop recording.
A simple thing, but it's powerful in what it does.
I named it HowDidItCrash and I will be releasing version 1.0.0 very soon, since I think it might be helpful for my colleagues and testing department as well. I'm in a process of writing documentation.
This little thing has postponed the release of my other projects. If anyone reads my blogs and was waiting for that, I am sorry, It's coming soon as well.
Not sure in how much I will go opensource yet, I'd honestly still like to see a bit of profit on my projects, so maybe when I see some ko-fi donations, I will open the project to public with all the sources within. Until that is the case, the software will be available to download, for free, with no limitations.
