Pet Cage Platform is a simple 3D-printable STL designed for fancy rats and similar small pets, or rodents. It uses a practical roof + wall design: one side is supported by the printed wall, while the other mounts directly to cage bars.The carpet-friendly top gives pets a comfortable resting surface, while the open space underneath works as a cozy hide area.The model is easy to print, easy to mount, and intended for quick cage upgrades without complicated assembly.

Print settings:
- I wouldn't go less than 8 % infill- Could be printed from PLA, PET, basically any material, but I suggest using at least PET, or similar flexible material, since the pets are going to hop around and they might have very powerful legs.
Personally I printed it from ASA which I know has great strength properties and is flexible, but beware, ASA and ABS could be harmful if digested. Fancy rats tend to bite only on wood and rubber, so it's fine, but be careful.
- It's specifically designed to be easy to print, just a single flat side and no supports necessary (yet I recommend using them on the hinge-parts for the roof, so it fits well without morphing)
I also recommend using piece of carpet and glueing it on top of the pieces (use just a little bit of glue, you want to make it changeable)
I also glued some balsa wood on the inside, so Hagrid feels more cozy. For I know how rats love wood and wooden surfaces.
All the pieces are designed with small holes, so you can wire them together or use zip-ties (as i did) to not only hold the pieces firmly together, but also to the cage itself.
The pieces are the exact size to fit through the doors of a standard cage diagonally and the "house" could be assembled from the inside of the cage. This way you don't have to take the cage apart to fit it in and it's easy to build!
