Hey, hello there, hi!
Finally after many years, I made some time (and mood and whatever) to get back to finishing my web, finally.
And so the first steps I already took were - finishing the basic administration and blog posting. YAY! Here we are. A working posting system. I am writing everything by myself from scratch, so ... it takes some time. But I use Copilot from Github (not sponsored btw) and that speeds me up absurdly. What i made in 3 days I would've been writing and fixing for weeks. It's a great tool, honestly.
Anyways
I will be coming out with more features in the coming days, this is just the beginning.
I have big plans.
My next step should probably be the homepage news grid. Any posts and news would be automatically (without me explicitly posting it, yay) posted on a homepage with a link and so on.
And then -
Then I need to remake everything I already have to use database and generate html, since currently it's hand-written and that's kinda the main reason this site stagnated so hard. I just couldn't force myself to be updating it from the file-system all the time. It's such a pain to have a web without administration system.
Well ... that's been going on about this site currently. If you're reading this, thanks and I hope the technicalities didn't bore you to hell and back. Also - you may like this post and help me test the liking feature! It does not require login. For logged users I am planning another feature - favourites. Users then could favourite posts and creations and whatever they like and have it in their dashboard as a shortcut!
Well (again, yes)
I have a lot of projects and plans, finished or going and I really need to share them. This page should have been a hub for that for such a long time! But finally, here I go making changes to it, making it work.
For example, in recent days I released (on GitHub) my 4 year old (and working) project of a simple house alarm. The previous name was absurd, so to make it sound like what it is I went with name "OpenAlarm".
It is an opensource Alarm system based on Arduino Nano and the repository contains all necessary files to make it yourself, even the code. It's all there.
https://github.com/Bunnykillcz/OpenAlarm/
and that project will later be posted within hardware projects, I think. This may change, since I am currently digging through the old and horrendous code I wrote years ago (and fixing it as well).
And in the latest year I also wrote some music (fair, it's a generated song, but I wrote it and am proud of it anyway. It's on Spotify and other places, some of it made it to youtube and some more of it was not released yet), I am working on a few games currently and ... then I work on my car as well ... it has been a lot, because I have many fun hobbies! Though - I have some videos I want to share as well, but am in process to learn how to produce better videos and - I also don't like to put my face out in the video as a commentator, so I think I will be reaching to some artists soon to make me an avatar (I don't want AI slop graphics even though they look good nowadays, I'd still have a lot of post-processing work and I cannot be bothered) or - since I am a broke ass, I might be forced to learn digital art as well. I don't mind it, but I think I am having enough hobbies for now.
(feel free to support me on my
ko-fi 😊 )
So...
This has been my latest outside-work activity, update to this site,
The First Post!
